Datasheet Engineering Workbench
Extract traceable specifications from public component Datasheets, understand MLCCs or power inductors, and evaluate replacements with deterministic rules.
Two workspaces
Quick read turns manufacturer, exact part number, ratings, operating conditions, package information, and limitations into a structured table. Every value can reveal its original page, section, table, and quotation. Engineering questions are answered only from verified passages.
Replacement evaluation loads an original and a candidate part, then requires an exact Ordering Code from each Family Datasheet. A verdict—direct, conditional, not recommended, or insufficient evidence—is produced by deterministic rules only after real work conditions are entered. Without conditions, the tool shows differences but gives no replacement verdict.
Data transfer and API keys
Upload public component Datasheet PDFs only; do not upload internal specifications, schematics, or confidential documents. The PDF text layer is parsed and filtered in the browser. Relevant passages and your API key cross the JK Space Relay for a single request to the provider you selected. The site does not write the key to Local Storage, cookies, a database, or analytics.
Version-one scope and limits
Version one formally supports MLCC ceramic capacitors and shielded power inductors. It does not support OCR, scanned PDFs, automatic web downloads, transistors, or power ICs. It does not measure values from DC-bias, ripple, thermal-derating, or inductance curves. When a required value exists only in a chart, the verdict becomes insufficient evidence and links to a manual-review page.
The model extracts and explains text. Deterministic TypeScript handles unit conversion, range comparison, and the replacement decision. The output is an engineering screening aid, not a substitute for manufacturer confirmation, simulation, sample validation, or design review.
